The Tupper-Rita: Your New Favorite Holiday Batch Drink
(A delicious non-alcoholic Spiced Apple Margarita)
"I need something fun for Thanksgiving," she said, her eyes sparkling with holiday anticipation. "Something that feels like a real cocktail experience, but that everyone—from the little kids to grandparents—can enjoy with dinner."
...The vision? A sophisticated, seasonal, non-alcoholic margarita that was balanced enough to complement a holiday meal and could be batched ahead of time for easy entertaining.
This was the delightful challenge presented by my customer. As we chatted about festive flavors, her family name—Tupper—sparked an idea. Since this drink would be batched and served easily from a pitcher or container, a name that combined the simplicity of batching with the joy of a margarita felt perfect.
And so, inspired by her family and her request for an effortless celebration drink, the Tupper-Rita was born!
Holiday Game-Changer
...While many enjoy a spirited drink, offering a thoughtfully crafted non-alcoholic option ensures everyone feels included in the celebratory toast. No compromises on flavor, no skimping on presentation—just a delicious, festive beverage that stands proudly alongside any cocktail and won't overpower your carefully prepared holiday feast.
Inspired by the crisp flavors of fall and the comforting aroma of mulling spices, we landed on an Apple Spice Margarita. Using Seedlip Notes de Agave... we created a drink that's both comforting and vibrant, with enough tangy lime and crisp cider to be highly refreshing alongside heavy holiday dishes.

Assemble & Chill
Prepare the Mixer: In a container, measure and combine all ingredients for your Mixer (lime juice, apple cider, + water) set aside and chill this.
Combine Base Ingredients: In your 64 oz pitcher or beverage container, pour in:
1 Full Bottle of Seedlip Notes de Agave NA Spirit
8 oz (1 Cup) of Crescent Simples Apple Spice Syrup
Stir and Chill: Pour your prepared mixer into the container with the other ingredients. Stir everything very well to fully incorporate. Cover your container and refrigerate for a minimum of 8 hours or overnight. This chilling time is crucial for the flavors to marry and for the drink to be perfectly cold for serving.
Pro Tip: Make-Ahead Option for Ultimate Freshness
If you're planning really far in advance (up to a week), you can combine the Seedlip, Apple Spice Syrup, and Water ahead of time. However, for the brightest, freshest flavor, wait to add the Lime Juice and Apple Cider until the night before serving or the day of the event.
Prepare Your Festive Garnishes
A beautiful drink deserves beautiful garnishes! These simple additions elevate the whole experience.
Core your favorite variety of apple (Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala work wonderfully) and slice it into thin wedges or rounds. The Secret Soak: Use your favorite process to keep the slices from browning. (I swear by the saltwater soak)
For the saltwater soak: 1 cup of cool water and 1 tsp kosher salt in a bowl
Soak & Store: Add your sliced apples to the saltwater solution and let them soak for about 10 minutes. Drain them thoroughly, then store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They'll stay perfectly crisp and won't brown!
Additional (not so optional) Garnishes:
Cinnamon Sticks: Perfect for stirring and adding a beautiful aroma.
Apple Cinnamon Sugar: A sweet and spicy rimmer (optional, but highly recommended!). Simply mix granulated sugar with a pinch of cinnamon.
Setting Up Your Effortless Drink Station
Make entertaining a breeze by setting up a self-serve Tupper-Rita station. Your guests will love customizing their drinks, and you won't be playing bartender all day!
The Main Event: Transfer your chilled Tupper-Rita batch into an attractive pitcher or drink dispenser.
Ice, Ice Baby: Have a bucket of fresh ice and a scoop ready.
Glassware: Provide 9-ounce cups.
Rim Fun:
A small shallow bowl with a splash of lime juice for wetting glass rims.
A small plate with your Apple Cinnamon Sugar mix for dipping.
Garnish Bar:
A small bowl filled with your perfectly prepared, drained apple slices.
A cup or jar with cinnamon sticks.
And there you have it! A festive, inclusive, and utterly delicious non-alcoholic Apple Spice Margarita that will make your holiday gathering shine.
